Winsun is the world's highest 3D printed building

On January 18, 2015, inbev announced to the world that it had printed 6 floors of the world's first tallest 3D printing building (5 floors above ground and 1 floor below ground), breaking through the problem that 3D printing technology cannot print high-rise buildings.

This building is located in yingchuang suzhou factory district. From the appearance, it is the same as an ordinary building. The difference is that the exposed walls of the house present a texture like a cake mounted, uniform and strong.

Reinforced masonry wall standards were used during construction. Reinforced masonry walls, in which longitudinal and transverse rebar are inserted during the printing process of the wall, can satisfy the construction of at least 12 floors.

It is worth mentioning that the construction time of this building: one floor is printed every day, and one floor is installed every two days. According to the calculation, such a building can be printed and installed in about half a month.

After the completion of the 3d-printed tallest building, tongji university inspected the building in terms of safety and quality, and the inspection report showed that the 3d-printed building conforms to the existing national building standards.
